About us

Saint Brigids Castleknock Community Centre (SBCCC) was opened September 2012 primarily due to the support and contributions of  Fingal County Council and the ambition of the St Brigid’s National School Board of Management.  The complex which is c.8,800 sq ft was constructed as part of the redevelopment and expansion of St Brigids National School, Castleknock which now ranks as one of the largest primary schools in Ireland. Following a period of use for Primary Child Care it became fully operational and open for Public use in November 2013 following the appointment of a Centre Manager.

It is the stated ongoing ambition of SBCCC to provide the people of Castleknock and the greater Dublin 15 community with the facilities to enjoy an extensive range of physical and recreational activities in a modern state of the art building.

The main object for which the Company is established (the “Main Object”) is St. Brigid’s Castleknock Community Centre CLG was established to benefit the community of Castleknock and the greater Dublin community, by developing, providing and managing the community centre as a host facility for community, physical and recreational activities, acting as a focal point for community, physical and recreational activities in the community of Castleknock and the greater Dublin 15 area.  We facilitate the needs of all members of the community including Age, Ability, Religion, Race and Gender. Consessions are made available to allow this to be enacted on a daily basis. This is being carried out at the premises at Beechpark Lawn, Castleknock, Dublin 15,  annexed at St. Brigid’s N.S., from where the company operates.
